Hello fellow Elementalists! What's your preferred way to build your ele? With DD, you'll be mid-range/melee so you should be able to apply frost or shocking to your whole group. That's pretty powerful, even if it only lasts for a few seconds. You can always stance dance between air/water and fire to maximize the uptime of your auras and get a bit of damage/heals out as well. =) Let's discuss your builds! That's a really good offensive support build, I've been using a similar one for quite a while. Did you know you can apply that to signets as well? With 20 points in fire you have the trait Fire's Embrace which gives a fire aura for every signet you use, i.e. signets also grant fury/protection/swiftness to the whole group. Pretty awesome as well. Here's the one I use atm : LINKIt's basically a glass cannon build that makes the most use out of cantrips to remain viable. With those water traits, each time you use a cantrip (and my 3 utilities are cantrips) you gain vigor, regeneration, and you remove a condition. So whenever I'm in trouble I can pop a cantrip or switch to water, which also heals me and removes a condition. Just the switch + Cleansing wave gives around 5k. Other than that, 10 points in earth to proc Armor of earth at half hp, which is also a cantrip and works with all I said above... And 20 points in air just to add a lot more pressure on the enemy, you could choose fire instead of that for Spell slinger (3 stacks of might when you use a cantrip), or anything else... So there it is... I added armor as well, that's the exact build I use in pvp, and I try to emulate it in pve as well even though my gear still sucks :/ Some other cool stuff (sorry for the long post but ele is too awesome for me to shut up ><) - Mist form is a guaranteed stomp or revive in pvp, that's why I use it. In pve I tend to use Armor of earth instead. - You can start casting Churning earth and use Lightning flash mid-cast to get right next to your target if they tried to avoid it. It won't interrupt the cast and they'll be all like wtf how did I get hit?! It's one of my favorite things to do in pvp ;D
